You work 1-on-1 with expert professors and a startup-experienced coach who build your curriculum around your real startup, from validating an idea and finding product-market fit, to raising money, to scaling what works.

Built on your real startup

An MBA That Works On Your Company, Not a Case Study

Most MBA programs teach entrepreneurship through case studies of other people's companies. The Startup MBA works directly on yours. Every lesson, every coaching session, and every milestone is built around the actual startup you are validating, building, or scaling, so the work you do for your MBA is the same work that moves your company forward.

Your team of professors and coaches has built and advised startups, and they apply that experience to your specific stage: finding product-market fit, raising a round, or scaling a team. Instead of a fixed cohort moving through a shared syllabus, your curriculum moves at your startup's pace.

No GMAT required. Start immediately. Full refund within your first 30 days.

Who this is for

Built for Founders at Every Stage

The Idea-Stage Founder

You have an idea and need to validate it fast: talking to customers, testing a narrow value proposition, and deciding what to build first.

The Pre-Product-Market-Fit Founder

You have a product but have not yet found the thing that makes customers pull it out of your hands. Your team helps you run the experiments and read the signals that tell you when you have found it.

The Fundraising Founder

You need to raise a round. Your team builds your financial model, your pitch, and your investor strategy, and coaches you through the actual process of raising venture capital or angel funding.

The Scaling Founder

You have traction and need to hire, build systems, and manage cash as you grow. Your team builds the operations, finance, and management skills that keep a growing company from breaking.

The Technical Co-Founder

You can build the product but need the business side: positioning, go-to-market, fundraising, and the fundamentals that complement your technical skills.

The Aspiring Founder

You have not started yet but know a startup is next. Your team helps you find and validate your first idea before you quit your job or raise a dollar.

What you master

The Six Domains of Building a Startup

Your professors teach the same six domains every Elton 1-on-1 MBA student masters — business systems, strategy, technology, marketing, team dynamics, and personal mastery — through the lens of a founder, plus the disciplines unique to this concentration:

  • Finding Product-Market Fit — running the customer discovery, experiments, and metrics that tell you when your product fits a real, large enough market
  • Seeking Investment — building your financial model, pitch deck, and data room, and running an actual fundraising process with angels or venture capital
  • Go-to-Market Strategy — choosing your first channels and customers, and turning early traction into a repeatable growth engine
  • Startup Finance — modeling runway, unit economics, and burn, and making the cash decisions that keep a startup alive
  • Building and Leading a Founding Team — hiring your first employees, setting culture, and leading through the uncertainty of early-stage growth
  • Scaling What Works — turning a scrappy early playbook into repeatable systems as headcount, revenue, and complexity grow

An Accelerator or Incubator

Gives you a cohort, mentorship, and sometimes capital over a few months, but no academic credential and a fixed program length regardless of your stage.

Elton's Startup MBA

Gives you 1-on-1 expert professors and a startup coach who work directly on your company, for $22,000 total, no GMAT, and a start date whenever you are ready.
