Disrupting higher education

Higher education hasn't meaningfully changed in a century: lecture halls, four-year timelines, crushing debt. We are not here to tweak that model. We are here to replace it with 1-on-1 tutoring, coaching, and real-world projects that any learner can afford.

Evidence and science first

We decide how to teach the way a good doctor decides how to treat: by the research. Mastery learning, growth-mindset feedback, tutoring, active learning. When better evidence shows up, we change course, and we measure whether it worked.

Lean and agile

We invest in people, not buildings or bureaucracy. Small teams, short sprints, fast feedback. You will own real outcomes from your first week, ship quickly, and fix what doesn't work without waiting on a committee.

A startup nonprofit

Elton is a 501(c)(3) with a startup's pace and a nonprofit's purpose. No shareholders, no exit. Every dollar and every hour goes back into students. Expect startup scrappiness, wearing many hats, and building things that don't exist yet.

Extremely ambitious

Our goal is a truly global university serving hundreds of thousands of students in every country, learning 1-on-1 with expert professors. We are early, so the people who join now will shape what that university becomes.
